Short Stories is my very first studio EP. The songs range from blues and jazz, to folk, and were written on mostly sunny summer days on the Isar River in Munich, Germany. The sound of water rushing down the river bed inspired me to create the lyrics. During the Autumn days that followed I tracked out the chords to each song on an old lady of an upright piano, built over 100 years ago in Munich. It's difficult to describe the sound that comes from my piano, but if I had to, I would say it plays a dusty-soul kind of music.

This EP has five songs that range from bitter heart break, pondering about love and life, losing everything, and desperately hoping that life continues. They are short stories.
